Amazon added Pakistan to it's Approved Seller List

Pakistan has finally been added to the Approved Seller’s List of Amazon. Abdul Razak Dawood, Advisor to PM of Pakistan for Investment and Commerce, announced on Thursday, 06 May 2021 that Pakistan will be in the approved Seller’s List of Amazon within few days. He also said that this major milestone is a very big opportunity and is very useful for the youth of Pakistan, businesswomen of Pakistan, and Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SEMs) of Pakistan. He announced this news in a Tweet:

 

He said that they were in touch with Amazon from the last year and were struggling for this to happen and now finally it is going to happen within few days.

Amazon is US E-Commerce Giant which is used to sell products. Before Today, Pakistanis were not allowed to become sellers on Amazon but after the struggles of many people and government, Pakistan has achieved this great opportunity. Now, the Sellers of Pakistan can create their Accounts on Amazon and can sell their Products in International Market Place.

Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Special Assistant of the Imran Khan on Political Information, thanked Imran Khan for this success. He also tweeted about this achievement and said that this is the big achievement of the current Government and such type of achievement had not been achieved during the last 10 years.

 

A zoom meeting was also held between the Former Senior Executive of Amazon, Mr. Omer Gajjal, and Senior Executives of Pakistani Companies. This meeting was arranged by the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan and the Consulate General of Pakistan, Los Angeles. In this meeting, the opportunities that will be available to Pakistani Sellers and Companies were discussed.
