Pakistan is the 5th most populous country in the world. Pakistan came into existence on 14th August 1947 by the efforts and dedication of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Muhammad Iqbal, and many other great people. Pakistan got many loyal people. I will tell you the five-best people in Pakistan.
- Muhammad Ali Jinnah
Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on 25th December 1876 in Karachi. He was a politician, barrister, and the founder of Pakistan. In Pakistan, he is recognized as ‘Baba-i-Azam’ and ‘Quaid-i-Azam’ (The Great Leader). He served All-India Muslim League from 1913 until the independence of Pakistan (14th August 1947). All-India Muslim League was a political party and wanted a separate nation for Muslims. If we are living in Pakistan independently, it is just because of him. He died on 11th September 1948.
- Muhammad Iqbal
Muhammad Iqbal was born on 9th November 1877 in Sialkot. He was a poet, theorist, philosopher, politician, and lawyer. He is recognized as Allama Iqbal. His poetry in Urdu and Pashto are still famous and inspired people for the separate Muslim nation. He thought that Muhammad Ali Jinnah had the ability to preserving unity. So, Muhammad Iqbal and Muhammad Ali Jinnah tried hard to give us a separate independent nation, and their efforts come true. He died on 21st April 1938.
- Abdul Sattar Edhi
Abdul Sattar Edhi was born on 28th February 1928. He was a donor, humanitarian, and ascetic. In the early 20's, he sold the clothes in the wholesale markets. He was the founder of the Edhi Foundation. Edhi Foundation is a non-profit public welfare corporation. He has a large network of ambulances all over the world. We lost a gem on 8th July 2016. After his death, his son Faisal Edhi served his foundation. He also opened a free dispensary for the people who cannot afford to buy expensive medicines. Abdul Sattar Edhi got many national and international awards and prizes. He also got Nishan-i-Imtiaz in 1985.
- Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan (A.Q Khan)
Abdul Qadeer Khan was born on 1st April 1936 in India, and he migrated to Pakistan in 1947. He was a nuclear physicist and metallurgical engineer. He was recognized as the ‘Father of Uranium Enrichment Project’. He started working on a nuclear project after the study of metallurgical engineering from western Europe. He became the Enrichment Division in Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC). After his efforts, Pakistan became the atomic power. He got Hilal-i-Imtiaz and Sitar-i-Imtiaz. He set up a hospital (Dr. A Q Khan Hospital) that provides free treatment for needy people.
- Imran Khan
His full name is Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi and he was born on 5th October 1952 in Lahore. He was a cricketer. After retirement from cricket, he becomes a politician. He is the current Prime Minister of Pakistan and the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. We won the 1992 cricket World Cup just because of him. He started a campaign in 1991 for a cancer hospital in remembrance of his mother. He set up Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore in 1994, where cancer patients are treated free. The construction of another branch of Shaukat Khanum Hospital was started on 29 December 2016 in Karachi.
