ECAT 2021 Registration - A Complete Guide

ECAT is the combined Entry test for taking admission in Engineering and Engineering Technology programs in Punjab. University of Engineering and Technology (UET) conducts ECAT tests. Every year thousands of students after Intermediate prepare for this entrance test, register themselves in this test and appear in the entry test for getting admission in Universities.

Applying for the ECAT test is a difficult part. Many Students stay confused while registering themselves for the test, so here is the Complete Registration Process.

Entry Test Token Number

The first step is to get the Entry Test Token Number. You can get Entry Test Token Number from 12^th April 2021 to 17^th May 2021 by following any of the two given methods.

• Entry Test Token Numbers can be obtained by making an online payment of PKR 1,300/- either on HBL Konnect or HBL Online Banking. For making Online Payments, firstly you have to Get Online Challan by filling in the necessary details. After getting the Challan, pay it online.
• Entry Test Token Numbers can be obtained by paying Entry Amount of PKR 1,300/- to Designated HBL Branches. They will give you a Token Number in the form of a Scratch Card after your payment.

Generate Admit Card

àAfter Getting the Token Number, the Next Step is to Generate and Get Admit Card for Entry Test. You can generate your Admit Card by 18^th May 2021. After that, you will be not allowed to generate your Card which means that you will not be allowed to appear in the ECAT.

 For generating your admit card, Click here and log in on the Admission Portal of UET.

Enter Serial Number* of paid Challan and your token number (or paid Challan Number).

* If you don’t know what your serial number is, then click here to get your Serial Number.

àWhen you click on Login, the following form will appear

Enter Correct Personal Information in this Form as per Your CNIC. After filling in the Personal Information, you have to Select Subject Combination* for your Test according to your Intermediate Subject Combination, select your Intermediate Degree, and then click on Save Button.

* Subject Combination Available for ECAT are:

• Physics, Mathematics, English & Chemistry (For FSC Pre-Engineering  and DAE Qualified Students)
• Physics, Mathematics, English & Computer Science
• Physics, Mathematics, English & Statistics
• Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology (For FSC Pre-Medical Students)

à After saving your Personal Information, you will be asked to upload your picture (light background, JPG, or PNG Format) and after uploading the picture, choose your test city wisely and then select test zone.

Clicking on Save Button will generate your admit card. Your Roll Number, Test Center, Test Date, and Test Time will be mentioned on Admit Card.

Print/ Re-Print Admit Card:

Now the Next step is to Print Admit Card. Click here to print or re-print your Admit Card. You can Re-Print your Card until the last day of the Test.

What documents should I bring at the time of the Test?

• Your Admit Card is a must document for appearing in the Test. You will have to take your admit card with you to Examination Center.
• A document that contains your picture (e.g. your ID card, or your Matric or Inter Part-1’s Result Card).

Try to reach the Test Center an hour ago the Test Start Time.
